pesto pasta with shrimp

cook string pasta al dente. reserve a tablespoon of pasta water and mix with pesto from the tube. coat noodles. add freshly steamed shrimp. don't forget your freshly grated parmesan on top!

when i was shopping at sprout's market i found a delicious parmesan and thought to myself...hmm......parmesan, parmesan, parmesan.....lasagna? eggplant parm'? ......... oh, oh, oh, i know pesto!!! i went to the herb section and asked the produce guy, "where's the basil?", he said, "we're out.".
"but, i'm making basil pesto for dinner, don't make me make pea pesto!!"
laughing together.
"let me show you the pesto section."
i was excited to find pesto in a tube because my husband brought back tubed onion and garlic from switzerland they were, just, down right delicious!!!
VICTORY. shopping victory. dinner victory. everybody's happy. couldn't believe how delicious this pesto was with the shrimp.mmmmmmmmmm. me want some now and it's 8 am.
